Tasting - Cresta Azul

Name: Cresta Azul
Variety: Moscatel, Macabeo, Parellada, Xarel-lo
Region: Emporda

Country: Spain
Year: NV
Price: $5.95

Winery Review: Peach, orange cream and vanilla flavors mingle in this softly bubbly white. Off-dry, but with crisp acidity and a clean finish

My Review: This wine seemed relatively average to me. It had a fruity aroma of pears, peaches, and nectarines. It had a sweet quality to it as well on the nose. It also had a sweet palate, was very smooth, crisp and almost tasted like candy to me. This wine seemed like it would be good to enjoy on a relaxing day but I am not sure I would ever do so.
