Shop Review: Deep red brilliant with violet hints. Complex, fruity, and predominant red fruits. Easy to drink, round with persistent sweetness, very well balanced with sweet tannins.

My Review: I have had other desert wines at different tastings before but have never experienced one quite like this. Although it was a desert wine it did not have the overly sweet palate as most others do. Due to the fact that they stopped the fermentation early, the sugar in this wine is natural from the grapes. It had a sweet aroma and was sweet on the palate but it did not taste like I was drinking sugar like I have experienced in the past with other desert wines. I would definitely buy this wine again to enjoy with a chocolate cake or something of that sort.
